The Lusail light rail (قطار النقل الخفيف بمدينة لوسيل) is a light rail project to serve the Lusail urbanization project along the east coast immediately north of the city of Doha , the capital of Qatar . Commissioning is scheduled for 2020.

The Qatar Railway Authority, Qatar Rail , has awarded the operation and maintenance of the Lusail light rail, as well as the Doha subway , to the transport company RKH Qitarat for 20 years . RKH Qitarat is a consortium of the Hamad Group (51%) and the internationally operating French transport groups Keolis and RATP Dev (49%).
