The Oberwölz city fortification is the city ​​fortification of Oberwölz Stadt in the municipality of Oberwölz in the Murau district in Styria .

history

The fortification of the city was built in the 14th and 15th centuries and partly also in the 16th century. Three of the original six goals have been partially preserved.

In the west, north and east there was a city moat. In the west, the Schöttlbach formed a natural obstacle.
