The Weil am Rhein City Library is a public library in the Baden-Württemberg town of Weil am Rhein . It has around 80,000 media and is located northeast of the train station in the central Leopoldshöhe district . The city library has also been used as an art library since 1998 , making it the first in southern Baden.

The city library offers a stock of 53,000 books, 7700 CDs , 4000 DVDs as well as board games , cards, newspapers and magazines, Nintendo games and other media. In addition to a reading café and a so-called Regiothek, which provides publications and media on the region, the library also offers public Internet access on a desktop PC and via WLAN.
In addition, the premises have also been used as an art library since 1998, in which the regional art scene can present itself. In addition to the presentation, the art is also partly for sale and loanable. The library is also used as a venue for cultural events. In addition to the library's art library, the city's cultural concept in the 1990s also envisaged the creation of a music school, an art gallery and four municipal museums.
The library, supported by the city of Weil am Rhein, was reopened in November 1994 in the former St. Peter and Paul Church . The church building from 1928 was specially rebuilt for this purpose and offers, spread over three floors, a usable area of over 1000 square meters.
