history
In 1927 the three communities of Westheim, Uttenhofen and Rieden wanted to set up a bus route. The Reichspost could not do the job. That is why the municipalities looked around for a private operator. The decision was made in favor of company founder Christian Hafner, who, as a Westheim master baker, regularly took schoolchildren into town with his delivery truck. He also bought an Opel bus and used it to carry out the scheduled services.
The company moved to Hall on Salinenstraße. The first city traffic line was set up in 1930. It led from Steinbach via Hall train station to the Evangelical Diakonissenanstalt. The fare of 20 pfennigs was not changed until after 1950.
Several buses were purchased in the years to come. In 1967 the company moved to Daimlerstrasse, where it is still based today. In 1990 the traffic association "VSH" (today: Schwäbisch Hall roundabout ) was founded. The traffic routing of the lines through the city center was changed.
The company was integrated into the DEG Group, today Transdev GmbH , on August 1st, 1999 .
