Stadtgörz or on Gorizia referred to in the remains of a Feistritz Drau located fortress from the late Latène period , which in the Roman period to a castle was and finally in the late antiquity as a rampart served.

The area was excavated in 1928. The site is located northeast of Feistritz between Drautalstrasse , Weißenbach and Drau . It extends over 18 hectares. On the south-western edge, an earth wall with a gate from the late Latène is well preserved on 210 m and poorer on another 100 m. There is evidence of buildings inside, but the unfavorable soil conditions do not allow any recognition of wooden structures.
