The Stadtlexikon Darmstadt is an online encyclopedia about the city of Darmstadt .

History and description

The Stadtlexikon Darmstadt was first published in print by Roland Dotzert et al. published. The first and only edition was published by Konrad Theiss Verlag in May 2006 .

The Stadtlexikon Darmstadt was put online in an improved form by the City of Darmstadt - in cooperation with the Darmstadt City Archives - on Friday, January 29, 2016. It is free to use. It consists of around 1,800 articles and around 900 images. More than 180 authors contributed to the creation of the lexicon. The update and revision took about 3 years. The Stadtlexikon is the city of Darmstadt's first historical work on the Internet.
