The Stadtsparkasse Traiskirchen AG was a Lower Austrian banking company based in Traiskirchen and part of the savings bank group in Austria . It was created in 1991 as a community savings bank. The savings bank was a member of the cooperation and liability association of the Austrian savings banks and the Austrian savings bank association .
history
At the meeting on January 31, 1991, the town council of Traiskirchen decided to found its own savings bank. In the following years, the newly founded Sparkasse was able to position itself as a regional financial service provider in the catchment area. After it was founded, the Sparkasse moved into a newly built building on the main square, which was expanded in 2002.
In 2001 the Sparkasse's banking operations were incorporated into a stock corporation in which Wiener Neustädter Sparkasse holds 71% of the shares. The municipality of Traiskirchen holds the remaining shares. The originally established share management savings bank was liquidated after the Wiener Neustädter Sparkasse took over the majority of the shares.
The Sparkasse participated in the construction of a music pavilion in the city park.
After Wiener Neustädter Sparkasse took over the remaining shares of the Sparkasse from the municipality of Traiskirchen in 2011, Stadtsparkasse Traiskirchen AG was merged with Wiener Neustädter Sparkasse and thus became an independent institute.
