The relay appears monthly with a sold circulation of approx. 52,000 copies. According to the publisher, the magazine is considered educationally valuable and is recommended by the ministries of education and the Reading Foundation . history
With the Liliput of the Nuremberg-based Sebaldus Verlag, the first youth magazine received a license after the Second World War . Issue number 1 appeared in October 1946 and was soon a leader in this sector in Bavaria. Was supplemented Liliput later by the relay from Freiburg. Both magazines ran side by side for a while until they were folded up. The first issue of the combined magazines Liliput / Neue Stafette appeared in September 1967. Another victim in the media contest was Treff , which was discontinued in 2013 after a change of ownership in favor of the Stafette .
