The Bayard Media Group Germany is a German publishing company based in Augsburg . It consists of the publishers Bayard Media GmbH & Co. KG , Johann Michael Sailer Verlag GmbH & Co. KG and Living & More GmbH. The group publishes a total of around 25 periodically appearing magazine titles as well as special issues from the areas of children, women, parents, best agers , gardens, living as well as faith and knowledge. The Bayard Mediengruppe is a subsidiary of Bayard Presse ( France ) and the Roularta Media Group ( Belgium ) and employs around 100 people in Augsburg, Cologne and Nuremberg . Horst Ohligschläger has been CEO of Bayard Mediengruppe Deutschland since 2008.
history
Bayard Mediengruppe Deutschland was founded in 2008 when Bayard Presse and the Roularta Media Group took over the magazine portfolio of the Weltbild publishing group . After years of cooperation between the two Catholic publishing houses Bayard Presse and Weltbild, a new media company was created.
