1903-1904 (villa) Plastered facade with sandstone integration and mansard roof, reform style architecture, named after the client, the art and trade gardener Arthur Dietze, historically significant Monument text The art and trade gardener Arthur Hugo Dietze acquired the 1,000 square meter property from the hands of the master mason Julius Ihme for the purpose of building a villa. Architect Paul Dietze from Munich provided the plans, and Julius Ihme was entrusted with the execution and construction management. The building application was submitted on July 15, 1903: "As can be seen from the drawings, the project is based on the idea of creating a pleasant apartment in a single-family villa, with all living rooms on the ground floor and bedrooms and ancillary rooms on the upper floor." A homemaker's apartment was planned for the roof. On March 10, 1904, notification of the completion of the project was made. The planning documents suggest a splendid, lordly palace with predominantly neo-baroque decoration, the construction put into perspective due to its single-family house dimensions. A small open vestibule with a double flight of stairs leads to the hallway on the north side of the street, a loggia above and next to the house entrance there was another, formerly open loggia with twin arches and a squat column. All corner edges of the house had plaster blocks, as did the central projection on the east side. A veranda was added to the rear and a wooden balcony to the south, emphasis was placed on a prominent garden design. A hipped mansard roof elegantly completes the plastered brick building, which is now somewhat smoothed. A garage was applied for in 1925 and in October 1931 the house was converted into two apartments (Alfred Schmidt), the newer enclosure dates from 1967. A historical value must be recorded for the prestigious residential building. LfD / 2014, 2017 09263896

1894 (residential building) historicizing plastered facade with sandstone integration, historically significant monument text With the construction of a crockery shed for master carpenter Wilhelm Lindner in 1878, the building file begins, the country house was only built in 1894 according to a design by the architect Richard Füssel from Leipzig for the Probstheida landowner Hulda Gärtner. Johanna Ritter, wife of the jeweler and goldsmith Richard Ritter, applied for a veranda connection in 1933 (plans by architect Walter Müller) and in 1936 for a closed vestibule from the Karl Krause construction company. The house was designed as a single storey with a mezzanine and, with its picturesque appearance, did not fit in too disruptively in the old Probstheida village green, especially since the house has a front garden and is thus set back from the street. The plastered façade with frames made of artificial stone elements and a wooden lambrequin rises above a raw stone base. The central projecting into a dwelling is distinctive, and a single-storey polygonal bay window is presented. The balcony formerly planned here is no longer available today, as are some decorative elements on the gable triangle of the dwarf house and on the roof. The building, with its historicist design, has an architectural historical value. LfD / 2014, 2017 09293787

1906 (residential building) Historicizing plastered facade with half-timbered bay window, historically significant Monument text Teacher Karl Paul Voigtländer asked for permission to build a single-family home, for which he was able to win Franz Säuberlich from Schönefeld and, after the shell test, master mason Carl Geyer. The detached country house was built in the course of 1906, and it was converted into two separate residential units in 1934 by the construction company Oswald Schulze on behalf of Milda Martha. Voigtländer born Wetzel. The multi-part roof landscape, the covered terrace with its wooden balustrade and visible framework contribute to the friendly appearance of the house, plastered over a dark exposed clinker base - the wooden shutters that were once attached were unfortunately not replaced during the last renovation. The picturesque residential construction has a historical significance and marks the expansion of the town at the beginning of the 20th century in Probstheida. LfD / 2014, 2017 09293794

Residential house in open development, with front garden and wash house in the courtyard Russenstrasse 101
(map)
1910-1911 (residential building) Plastered facade, reform style architecture, historically significant monument text The building application from fur and tobacco dealer Otto Mohr, which was submitted in October 1910 with plans by the architect O. Morgenschweif, was named "Country house with attic apartment". After the approval was granted in February 1911, Georg Röder took over the execution and the architects Weber & Schöne took over the construction management. Tekturen were submitted for the facade design as well as new construction drawings for a farm building, which was to accommodate the laundry room, equipment room and a spacious hen house. The final revision took place on August 21, and the fencing was completed at the end of the year. In 1990 the plan was to convert the wash house in the outbuilding into a garage, and in April 1996 the approval under monument protection law was issued for the renovation of the house. The house clearly shows the influences of contemporary reform style architecture, which are supplemented for the Soliär with elements of country house architecture. Essential for the effect of the plastered facade are wooden trellises and folding shutters, the small sprouting of the windows, the material-specific covering of the mansard hipped roof. A polygonal bay window and the dwelling house set accents. A historical value must be recorded for country house construction. LfD / 2014, 2017 09293795

1909-1911 (villa) Plastered facade with half-timbered gable and tower, lead-glazed staircase windows, buildings in Reform and Heimat style, named after the architect and client Georg Döhler, historically significant Monument text Commercial gardener Friedrich August Albert Groll applied for the erection of a massive garden house in 1892, which was to be moved from Leipzig. It was not until 1909-1911 that a country house was built on the property, which the Gohlis architect Georg Döhler built on his own according to his own designs (modified implementation of the design drawings, the aforementioned garden house was initially retained). In February 1914, the property was sold to the master furrier Theodor Johannes Morgenschweiß, who lived in Leipzig-Reudnitz. 1924 Extension of a kitchen outlet. The picturesque villa building, committed to the local style, with an unusual vertical tendency, plastered facade, half-timbered gables and slate roof, parts of the dignified furnishings have been preserved. The main view looks almost like a fairy tale with a staircase narrowing towards the entrance with curved cheeks, which is wedged between the oval stair tower and a protruding single-axis building section. 1920 A stable building with a carriage shed was built. 1925-1926 (residential building) Plastered facade, in the traditionalist style, historically significant Monument text The "compact" residential building was built in the years 1925 and 1926 in the "settlement for dismantled civil servants in Probstheida", according to plans submitted by the Landes-Siedlungs- und Wohnungs- Fürsorgegesellschaft GmbH "Sächsisches Heim" in Dresden. The building owner for "House 5" was the Reichsbahn official Otto Paul Engermann. In 1932 he initiated some structural changes, including the construction of a two-storey extension, with Alfred Richter taking over the design and construction management. In 1997 the last comprehensive renovation took place in accordance with the project documents by architect D. Kern, accompanied by the addition of a small winter garden to the rear and the construction of a double garage on the property. With its simple plastered façade, the tiled hipped roof and the few structural elements, the house excellently represents the type of a private single-family home from the 1920s.
