1926–1927 (residential building) Plastered facade with hipped roof, residential house from the late 1920s that has been preserved with many original details, echoes of the Art Deco style, significant building history

Commercial gardener Curt Oppermann received the building permit for the first greenhouses on the extensive property in 1902, and applications for further plants were made in 1913, 1927, 1931 and 1938 as well as 1963. The last structural testimony to have been preserved on the nursery site is the two-family house built between 1926 and 1927 for the nursery owner mentioned above. Architect and master builder Max Schumann from Leipzig took on the design and construction management, while Oskar Kupfer was responsible for the execution. The building, which is almost on a square floor plan, has a plastered facade over a clinker base and a tiled pyramid roof. Furthermore, plaster structures, shutters and ornaments in the Art Déco style characterize the external appearance. The triangular basement windows and the surrounding windowsill cornice are particularly striking. Equipment from the time of construction preserved. LfD / 2007

Robert Matthes was the client, site manager, contractor and, with reasonable certainty, also the supplier of the design for the country house. The extraordinarily picturesque, plastered brick building was built in 1903 with a corridor, kitchen, chamber and three rooms on both floors. A two-axis, only slightly protruding central projection with a dwelling and an open space characterizes the small residential building in the middle of a garden plot on the Chaussee to Engelsdorf. 1901–1902 (farmhouse), 1902 (gate entrance) Villa-like house with historicizing clinker brick facade, building that characterizes the townscape with an elaborate facade design, of importance in terms of building history and the history of local development

The owner of the Baalsdorf estate number 22 - Traugott W. Max Seyfert - commissioned the building tradesman M. Somieski in 1901 with the construction of a manorial house (country house) and in 1902 with the construction of stable buildings, a wagon shed and a field barn. In 1904, parcels 25 and 26 were merged and in 1905 a barn was added. The old residential building, located on the eastern boundary of the property, was to receive two small apartments in 1934 as part of the Reich Labor Procurement Program according to plans by the architect Ernst Riedel. The plastered, villa-like house with its elaborate facade design, the last renovation of which dates back to the mid-1990s, as well as the gate entrance and the front garden, are listed as historical monuments. Parts of the historical furnishings have been preserved. With its location opposite the churchyard with the Baaldorfer Church, the entire ensemble has a prominent role in shaping the townscape and, as one of the largest farms in Baalsdorf, is of local historical value.
