1926 (school) Plastered facade, echoes of the reform style of the period around 1910, architect Fritz Riemann, of local and socio-historical importance

Unsustainable teaching conditions forced the Lützschena municipal council to finally implement the plan to build a new school in 1925 by resolution and with vigor. A grant application was made, a delegation was sent to Dresden and the local Sternburg brewery - unfortunately in vain - asked for financial support. The aim was initially a four-class school with at least one apartment for the headmaster. Plans by the Gohlis architect Fritz Riemann from 1926 show rooms for a school and a public bath in the basement. The school, which was handed over to its destination in the same year, caused such a sensation that even Schneeberg city councilors came to see it. The plastered façade above a high clinker base is structured exclusively by the windows, entrances and a few sill or cornice strips, the angular floor plan, the steep pitched roofs and the multi-part structure itself show the strong effort to create a building that fits well into the structure of the district build. The groups of windows in the classrooms on the east side, each grouped into four windows, appear very strict. LfD / 2006

1906–1908 (railway house) stately plastered building with brick structure, with stylistically corresponding courtyard buildings in brick and half-timbered, of architectural significance

On the grounds of the Wahren marshalling yard and Lützschena stop, the Royal Railway Directorate Halle / a. Saale to build a double dwelling with wash house and stable building for sub-officials. The plans submitted in 1906 by the construction department of the Royal Prussian Railway Operations Inspectorate II were implemented in the following year and use was permitted on April 3, 1908 after the final inspection. For 1947 the plan to convert war-damaged floor chambers into living space for railway workers is on record. Interlocking clinker brick and plastered surfaces characterize the façades, which lie above a Cyclops masonry base. The type building looks quite old-fashioned and antiquated, twelve apartments have been set up behind the walls. Two oriels protruding slightly in the upper storeys with stepped gables once set effective accents, a similar design shows (e) the courtyard front, here exits nestled on both sides, which have been replaced by modern balconies. The simple furnishings have largely been preserved, as has the street-side boundary wall of the front garden and paving, which was largely unrefurbished at the end of 2015. The outbuildings in the courtyard are unplastered and have visible frameworks in the structure. Due to the direct connection with the important area of the Wahrener Bahngelände, there is a historical value in terms of building history and local development. LfD / 2011, 2015

1887–1889 (villa) old location Hänichen, in typical neoclassical forms, plastered facade, of architectural significance

In 1887 the school board in Hänichen wrote to the Royal District School Inspectorate and informed them about a planned new school building by Michaelmas of the following year, but plans were not presented until June 2, 1888. The old school would be fine and still usable for 90 to 100 children in two classes. Pastor F. Thieme, who is also the school board member and local school inspector in Hänichen, noted the planned construction on the Hänichen parish fields as a single-storey building with a classroom and a gable apartment for the assistant teacher. By May 1, 1889, the plastered brick building and a small outbuilding should have been built. The classroom was brightly lit with four closely spaced windows, with a jamb floor above it. On the right, a side elevation with a dwelling marks the entrance. Master builder Otto Bruno Oehlschlegel signed the design. For cost reasons, the school was sold to Justizrat Dr. E. Less who intends to convert it for residential use. The State Association of Saxon Homeland Security is also involved with a statement in the plans carried out by the Leipzig construction company H. Bruno Oehlschlegel. In November 1911, tectures were submitted and the initially intended careful redesign of the facades was not implemented. A final examination is only on record with the date of May 1, 1917 under the current owner Marie Verw. Erler and Martha married less. The name "Landhaus Erna" appears in the planning documents. Behind the far-reaching changes to the facades, the addition of a winter garden with a terrace, the relocation of the entrance with a large canopy to the gable side and an extension of the functional building with a fountain, the old school building can only be guessed at. As a former school building, it is an important document of the development of the town, and also of particular interest in terms of architectural history as a villa building. LfD / 2011
