Residential house in open development with front garden and fence | Beipertstrasse 6 (map) |
1912–1913, later redesigned (residential building) | the house is a remarkable testimony to the architecture of its time in the area of private residential construction, significant in terms of local development and building history as part of the Schleußiger villa district
First, the Eigenheim-Baugesellschaft für Deutschland GmbH in Leipzig with Central administration in Frankfurt am Main submitted a building application for the construction of a country house and added designs by the architects Langheinrich & Riedel. A little later, the postal secretary Otto Rose was named as the property owner and Ernst Riedel was entrusted with the execution (August 6, 1912 to July 31, 1913). The 430 square meter property was closed off from the street by a fence: “Base made of stone with stakes made of planed slats”. Changes to the roof structure in 1931 and a veranda extension in 1934 were made on the initiative of the bank director Karl Gustav Hanisch. In 1935 he and his neighbor (Paußnitzstraße 8) coveted the construction of a double garage in 1935, the drawing of which was presented by the architect and construction lawyer Reinholf Kretzschmar. Reconstruction / renovation probably in the second half of the 1990s. The two-storey eaves gable front gives rhythm to the loose buildings on Beipertstrasse, and a mansard gable roof closes off the building at the top. A larger staircase on the side and a small bay window on the street side take the austerity of the cubic construction away, referring to the term “country house”. What has been preserved is the elegant and technically high-quality interior fittings, a fair renovation that goes hand in hand with the installation of awkward-looking windows, a patio door and remodeling of the garage. Unfortunately, the folding shutters that were so important for the appearance of the architecture in the 1930s are completely lost. Nevertheless, the house is a remarkable testimony to the architecture of the 1930s in the area of private involvement in the building industry, it is significant in terms of architectural and site development as part of the Schleußiger villa district. 1928–1929 (residential building) | Plastered facade with hipped roof, between traditionalism and modernity, architect: Erling Dybwad, importance in terms of urban planning and building history, scientific and documentary value
Attorney Dr. Rolf Anschütz can be regarded as the owner of the single-family house built in 1928/1929. The Leipzig-based architect Erling Dybwad, the son of the (better-known) architect Peter Dybwad and Messrs Wetzold & Beyer were commissioned. In 1977 it was intended to convert it into a two-family house. The two-story building opposite a public green area was to be provided with scratch plaster and a double roof made of red-brown clay beaver tails. A winter garden was designed to face away from the street, the street-side entrance to the house was provided with a canopy and outside staircase, and an ornamental garden was also laid out facing the street. Remarkable parts of the building equipment have been preserved. As a building from the 1920s, the house has a high status, especially in the ensemble with the other residential buildings in the Schleußiger villa district. The historical fence made of wooden fence fields between concrete stone pillars was renewed largely based on the original as part of the renovation. Renovation work took place in 1994/1995 and 2000/2001. Architecturally significant document of private residential construction from the late 1920s, part of the high-quality Schleußiger villa district. LfD / 2013 |

1906–1907, marked 1906 (tenement house) | with corner shutter, plastered facade, original corner shutter, elaborate wooden panels in the entrance area, home of the painter and graphic artist Elisabeth Voigt (1893–1977), historically important
In the closed quarter, a powerful decoration accentuates the plastered facade, while the gable and two box oriels characterize the impressive corner building. The master carpenter and building contractor Ernst Gustav Krosse from Schleußig took over the financing, execution and structural calculations. A corner shop and a flat in the top floor were set up. The building project of February 1906 was completed on January 31, 1907. In 1912, requests for renovations related to the construction of new balconies, in 1938 the widening of roof structures and in 1968 the installation of another attic apartment. The roadside balconies were blocked by the building supervision on October 9, 1975, and the demolition was then carried out the following year by an evening brigade. Another application for the attic extension, probably accompanied by renovation and modernization, was made in December 1994 by GbR Martin & Schall from Munich. The engineering office Kern, Church, Hettlich produced the documents. The spacious interior has largely been preserved. The building is of particular interest as the home of the graphic artist and painter Elisabeth Voigt, one of the most important German artists of the 20th century. She was founded in 2013 on the initiative of Dagmar Irene Noack and the chairman of the Grünheide-based art association "Elisabeth Voigt" eV Dr. A plaque on the house dedicated to Lothar Abét. The prestigious apartment building, which is exposed in terms of urban planning, has a high historical value as well as the former residence of Elisabeth Voigt, the most important Leipzig artist in the 20th century. 1905 (tenement) | Clinker-plaster facade, representative furnishings, of importance in terms of building history and the history of the district's development
The house in the transition between Art Nouveau and Reform Style was built in 1905 for the Kleinzschochern product dealer Christoph Heinrich Albert Grundert based on documents submitted the year before by the architect H. Heusing, who was also made responsible for the execution and construction management. A Mr. Max Stockmar is initially named in the building file. The following owners are known by name: master carpenter Karl Stiel (from 1906), tax inspector Friedrich Hermann Voigt (1912), from 1940 Johanna Magdalene Römer b. Voigt and Charlotte Spiegel b. Voigt. A project by VEB GWL 1978 for roof repairs and the expansion of an apartment in the attic was probably not implemented. The plaster facade, which is completely different from the design in the building file, is representative of the clinker-clad ground floor and the plinth clad in cast stone with a corner bay window at the entrance to the courtyard and another polygonal bay window along with a dwelling on the facade facing Brockhausstrasse, the building is a mirror image of number 30. Facade decoration with artificial stone molds, the high-quality equipment is also preserved. Significant in terms of building history and urban district development history. LfD / 2012 |

1903–1904 (tenement house) | with passage through the house, Art Nouveau building with clinker plaster facade and remarkable original furnishings, of architectural significance
In 1903, the building contractor Albert Pippel applied for a building application for a four-storey apartment building with two apartments on each floor and a flat in the attic. Eugen Horn, an architect from Leipzig, took over the planning. The final acceptance took place as early as 1904, and compared to the design, the building received a simpler facade. In the same year Heinrich Gustav Seidel acquired the building. There was a shop on the ground floor until 1973, when it was converted into an apartment. With its attractive facade design (alternation of plastered areas and red clinker bricks), the building blends in harmoniously with the surrounding, simultaneous development. Jewelry forms that are still in the historical tradition mix with Art Nouveau elements. Art nouveau decor also predominant inside, most of the original furnishings have been preserved. Particularly noteworthy are the Meissen tiled stoves from the time the house was built. The building, together with the development of Brockhausstrasse, which has been preserved as a whole, is evidence of the increasing urbanization of the former suburb of Schleußig since around 1870 and is therefore of importance in terms of the history of local development. Its equipment and the typical implementation of the rental building project also establish a historical value. LfD / 2011 |

1903–1904 (tenement house) | Clinker brick facade (plastered in the meantime), historically important
Master bricklayer and architect Karl Michael initiated the construction of the house in May 1903 and, after clarifying the formalities, sold the property to the building contractor and product dealer Ernst Reiche, who implemented the company with the help of the architect Erhardt Krause. On July 13th the building line was indicated and in June 1904 an application for a final revision was made. In 2002/2003 the house was extensively renovated by Hildebrand & Jürgens GmbH and the facade was recovered as a quasi test project of a reconstruction based on an informative photo template, whereby differences can be found in the transfer from the photo to the facade drawing submitted in 1903. Planning came from Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Volker Lietsch. Behind the still historicist clinker brick facade above the plastered ground floor, which is also not yet influenced by Art Nouveau, has been preserved, which has been renovated inexpensively and with little passion. Incidentally, two apartments of different sizes were set up on each floor at the time. The residential building in the closed, preserved tenement district with architectural and local development value. LfD / 2014 |

Merchant Richard Paul Killies turned to the Leipzig branch of Eigenheim-Baugesellschaft für Deutschland mbH with a request to build a country house. The construction company took over the construction management and the plans were made by the architects Langheinrich & Riedel. The building permit was granted in August 1911 and the final acceptance was carried out at the end of February of the following year. "Pine wood between artificial stone pillars over artificial stone plinth" was requested for the enclosure. The two-storey, eaves brick building with plastering looks quite high, in 1925 an oriel was added and a garage was installed, in 1928 the garden veranda and kitchen were redesigned, and in 1936 the porch roof was replaced with a massive opening. Changes and minor reconstructions during the GDR era took into account the use as a children's home or as a children's weekend home for the VEB Kirow-Werk. An escape staircase was built in 2001 on behalf of the youth welfare office of the city of Leipzig. Use of the renovated house as a day-care center for the Kindervereinigung Leipzig eV, unfortunately, for example, the window shutters in the large gable have been removed and the window looks rather lost. Effective building in the Schleußiger villa district with architectural and developmental aspects and, because of its later use as a children's facility, also socially and historically significant. In 1898, carpenter Johann Christian Heinrich Born took over the construction of a front residential building and a three-story rear residential building on his own behalf. Architect Gustav Bobach provided static calculations and certainly also the building plans. Master mason Karl Wachsmuth was also involved in the work. The rear “house on the Elster” required a bank wall facing the river, which “should be made in August when the water level is low”. On December 8th, the announcement of the final completion of the front building together with the househusband's apartment under the roof took place, the back building could be started in May 1899 after the plans were rejected twice with the master mason Herm. Jäger and Carl Müller as contractors. Council servant Flügel noted in connection with minor renovations in 1900 and a failed second apartment installation in the attic: “Born lives in very good, orderly financial circumstances. Incidentally, he enjoys a good repute ”. In February 1929, the property owner Auguste Born received the approval for an extension of the rear building “taking into account the particular location of the property and since there is a sufficiently large courtyard”, but does not allow this to be carried out at all. In the summer of 1997, Wohnen und Leben Bauträgergesellschaft mbH from Stuttgart submitted a building application for conversion, renovation, balcony extension on the courtyard side and the further expansion of the roof for residential purposes. Dipl.-Ing. Architect Trübsbach from Munich. The axially symmetrical historical clinker brick facade of the tenement house, which has a plastered, rusticated ground floor with a passage, is effectively designed. Brackets under the sills, an eaves designed with a serrated edge and brackets, as well as some stucco masks decorate the street front, the two slightly protruding side projections of which end in gables. The rear building rises on a quarry stone wall, which stands on a cement concrete foundation poured under the river bed. In addition to the normal level of 4.25m, a possible high water of 1.15m was taken into account and a further 50 centimeters were provided for the upper edge of the basement floor. LfD / 2014, 2015 |

1911–1912 (tenement) | Plastered facade, two bay windows, of importance in terms of building history
As part of an assembly group, the tenement house was built in 1911 and 1912 for master bricklayer Gustav Friedrich, who not only acted as an entrepreneur, but also as an executor and site manager. Two apartments on each floor and one apartment on the top floor were built behind the four-story plastered facade. Even during the construction phase, the fitter Josef Hanke took over the building site. Incidentally, two facade designs were submitted. The two polygonal oriels, which give the simple plastered facade structure and character, are particularly distinctive in the design. Between April 1998 and the same month in the following year, the renovation, including the loft extension and elevator installation, took place for Kuchenbrod GbRmbH in Sulzbach. According to the Dipl.-Ing. (FH) architect Andreas Renninger from Leipzig, the house has lost a lot of its original appearance, the front of the courtyard appears to be a new building that is not very committed. Windows and courtyard door made of plastic, the changes in the roof area, the floor-to-ceiling glazing of the balconies and the destruction of the stairwell decoration reveal little understanding for the issues of monument protection. According to the building description of the renovation application, the wooden staircase and the stucco in the apartments should be preserved. In the ensemble of the assembly on Holbeinstrasse on the one hand and the closed tenement structures in the quarter on the other hand, there is a historical value in terms of both building history and local development. 1896–1897 (tenement house), 1896–1897 (courtyard building) | Front building with gate passage, clinker brick facade, historically important
For Näther & Stötzner, the building contractor Hermann Näther signed a contract with the architect Richard Senf, who was also in charge of the building, for a front house and a factory building for the manufacture of machines for pharmacists and for chocolate production. The permit for the rear building used by the Hennig & Martin machine factory was granted in 1897, yellow clinker brick facade facing the residential building. The preparation of the individual components took place on the first floor, while the machines were put together on the ground floor and the top floor functioned as a warehouse, while coal and packaging material were in the basement. The reinforced concrete structure with a spacious staircase and lockable storage hatches for the transport of materials between the floors. The Wilhelminian style tenement was built in 1896–1897 with a gate passage and an axially symmetrical yellow clinker facade above the grooved ground floor. Only little protruding middle and side elevations. The equipment largely preserved. Renovation 2007–2008. LfD / 2008 |

1904–1905 (tenement house) | with corner store and store, clinker brick facade, of architectural significance
In what was then Jahnstrasse 14, the dominant corner building on Brockhausstrasse was built between December 1904 and July 1905 with a broken corner and wash house in the basement. The builder, designer and executor was the Lindenau architect Willy Voigt, who also did the static calculations and took over the construction management. For some time there was still a dispute about an apartment on the top floor, which was only built in 1911 under senior postal assistant Heinrich Hansen, who had taken over the property from Bertha B. Völkner in Albertshal near Glauchau. Under the property owner Heinz Neubauer, a public library was set up in the corner store in 1958, and in 1988 the balconies were closed by the building authorities. Different floor plans for two or three apartments per floor, two shops on the ground floor. On the clinker-plaster facade with window frames made of artificial stone only careful decoration in Art Nouveau forms, inside clear articulation: the original Art Nouveau furnishings have been completely preserved (including stucco in the entrance area and door handles). On Industriestrasse a shop with the original front, the eaves area smoothed. LfD / 2009 |

1896–1899 (tenement house) | Clinker brick facade, the building located in the closed tenement district has architectural and local significance.
A total of four facade designs can be found in the building file, drawn between 1896 and 1901. The building, designed as a two-in-hand, was built in 1897–1899 according to plans by master bricklayer Richard Reinhold (a Mr. Roßbach involved), who was also responsible for master locksmith Max Schlegel ( Ernst Maximilian Schlegel) and wagon owner Ludwig Reinhold was active. Plastering work on the facade was noted for 1938, and functional area modernization was planned for the early 1980s. At the beginning of 1996 application for attic extension and balcony extension by Klaus Schwarz and the involved architect André Emanuelsson. The Art Nouveau apartment building with a clinker brick facade over ashlar plaster on the ground floor, located in the closed street. Artificial stone molded parts hold the windows, in whose roofs rich, very fine stucco decor has been preserved. The furnishings include, among other things, the stairwell, entrance doors, stucco and patterned colored floor tiles. The house, which is located in the closed tenement district, has architectural and local significance. LfD / 2014 |

1896–1897 (tenement house) | Clinker-plaster facade, important in terms of building history
Master locksmith Ernst Maximilian Schlegel as the builder and master bricklayer Richard Reinhold as the executor are responsible for the rental apartment construction built from 1896 to 1897 on the Jahnallee 17 building site at the time. Two apartments per floor were set up with two chambers, corridor, kitchen and two or three rooms. In 1931 iron kitchen exits were to be added on the courtyard side, for which master butcher Friedrich Wilhelm Richter asked for approval, master builder Kurt Bergk took over the preparatory, technical work and the company Wagner & Brähne its implementation. The owners changed several times, some of which should be mentioned briefly: Brickyard owner Franz Alfred Leisebein from Gundorf, Christian Hermann Neumeister, Flora Selma ehl. Braun, Ernst Maximilian Hermsdorf. Structured axially symmetrically and with a risalit in the center, the clinker brick facade appears generously windowed and has strong roofs. Today, the street scene is characterized by a renovation that is not completely in line with listed buildings, whereby the lack of the former stucco decoration in the window roofs should also be pointed out. In the historicist quarter, which has been preserved closed, the tenement house built shortly before the turn of the century has an architectural and district development historical value. In 1897 the city of Leipzig honored one of its most important citizens, the lawyer and entrepreneur Ernst Carl Erdmann Heine (born in Leipzig in 1819, died in Leipzig in 1888). The sculptor Carl Ludwig Seffner (1861–1932) designed the larger than life statue made of bronze, which was melted down in 1943 for war purposes. All that remained was the simple, angularly profiled base made of red Swedish granite with the inscription “Dr. Heine ”. For almost 60 years he alone was a reminder of both the lost monumental work of art Seffner and Heine's personality. As a city representative and owner of extensive land, Heine had a decisive influence on the opening up and development of the western districts of Leipzig. He initiated the planned expansion of the previously rural areas of Lindenau, Schleußig and Plagwitz into modern industrial locations. Special personal and urban historical significance as well as memorable. A free recreation of the Heine statue was made on the basis of historical photographs and placed on the original base in 2001. 1897–1898 (tenement house) | with gate passage, formerly with a shop, clinker brick facade, wall and floor tiles, historically important
The tenement house was built as a three-in-hand in 1897/1898 for Carl Nelb jun. from Leipzig-Reudnitz according to plans by the building manager Richard Müller. After the front building was in the shell, an application was made for a wash house and bakery building in the courtyard, including a horse stable and coal cellar. The shop in the front building was used to sell the baked goods. The final revision of the rear building took place in April 1899 (destroyed in the war). From 1903 a butcher's shop has been located on the property, which resulted in some minor structural changes, including the installation of another shop. After renovations in 1957 and 1973, both shops are used for residential purposes. Clinker bricks characterize the rather wide facade, the structure of which, in addition to the formed side projections, was made in particular by sills and strong window canopies made of molded artificial stone, all of the stucco has unfortunately been lost. Inside, the furnishings from the construction period have largely been preserved. The apartment building in the closed street has an architectural and site development historical value. LfD / 2014 |

1894–1895, later redesigned (apartment building) | Plastered facade, stucco in the entrance area, remnants of lead-glazed staircase windows, of importance in terms of building history
The architect Emil Appenfelder was responsible for the design, statics and execution of the construction of a front residential building and a wash house, the client was the local judge Friedrich Wilhelm Otto Trautschold. The construction time was a total of seven months in the transition from 1894 to 1895. Conversions on the ground floor and the addition of kitchen exits on the courtyard side were carried out in 1908 under the commission of Max Heilemann, owner of an art forge, factory for iron constructions. In 1945 it was noted that the property was partially bombed. The transfer back took place in 1995, in 1996/1997 renovation, modernization and balcony extension. The documents were supplied by the Jürgen Müller engineering office in Leipzig. Behind the plastered facade, which is historic in the design, parts of the original furnishings have largely been preserved, for example lead-glazed staircase windows and apartment entrance doors. The ornate wrought-iron front door with a graceful, also iron, skylight grille (probably from 1908) is rare. Remarkable building in terms of architectural and district development history, the front door with rarity value. LfD / 2013 |

The concrete pile foundation, which made the construction of a new residential house on 2.70 m high heaped ground interspersed with ash and clay possible, is a rarity. The bored piles were then led into the grown gravel at 1.30m, the statics and execution was carried out by master builder J. Zuber, owner of the building construction, civil engineering and reinforced concrete construction in Leipzig. The advertising specialist Lorenz Grüner (died 1943) acquired the property in June 1936 from the Leipziger Tournamentplatz Verein eV in liquidation and commissioned the architect Theodor Paul Klotzsch with the design (with the help of architect Mau). Execution of the house with a clinker base and facade surfaces in light yellow noble plaster by the builder Erich Hänel. In 1937 the single-family house with photo studio and garage extension was built. The business and coloring rooms, along with the studio and darkroom, were on the ground floor. The studio room at the north gable had the effect of a built-on winter garden, in the south the extension of the through garage that formerly reached the street (demolished in the first half of 2009) and garden room with stairs to the artistically designed garden planted with useful trees. "Dry stone walls form the end between the higher front garden and the lower-lying living and kitchen garden ... The whole property should be flawless in every respect, artistically beautiful, solid and practical and built according to the local conditions." , columns and fields made of planed slatted frame (remains are preserved). Josef Berkmann secured the technical preparation and construction supervision from architect Teichmann. A building application was issued in the summer of 1901, the final revision took place under the new owner Karl Arthur Max Bernhardt (master mason), who also carried out the work, in March 1902. Architect C. Th. Zimmermann provided static calculations for this. At about the same time, a workshop with a wash house and a horse stable building with wagon shed, crockery and feed floor were built. The property was used for business in 1910 by the Paul Rothe sugar goods factory, from 1919 by the fur-sharpening and bleaching company Oscar Wehse and from the 1920s by the Otto Schmidt model maker. Kitchen exits on the courtyard side at the front building were added in 1938. A single-axis central projection separates the street facade, which has a total of nine axes, and which is also horizontally structured with continuous sill cornices. Today the plastered facade appears extremely sober and shows nothing of the subtle structuring concept of the design found in the building files. The stucco decoration was completely dispensed with and only molded artificial stone parts on the first floor structure the facade. The preserved furnishings include the stairwell, apartment entrance doors and the two-winged gate with skylight, cellar window grilles and, in October 2015, three original wooden windows on the street side, whose otherwise built-in coarse plastic windows score little. Architecturally of value as a residential and commercial property. LfD / 2014, 2015 |

1902–1903 (tenement house) | with corner shutter, richly designed plaster clinker facade, of architectural significance
The corner building on Oeserstraße was built in 1902 and 1903. A first draft in 1901 by architect Ernst Krug for master carpenter Hermann Plötner from Kleinzschocher was not implemented. Via the Leipziger Terraingesellschaft (Emil Franz Hänsel also participated), the property came into the possession of master carpenter Robert Krämer, who commissioned the architect Richard Müller with the design, structural calculations and construction management of the company. In addition, architect Moritz Eulitz is named in the files as the site manager. The building owner, owner of a construction and carpentry business, can certainly also be addressed as the executor. After foreclosure sale in 1904 owned by private man Ernst Adolf Helbig, in 1913 by managing director Gustav Heinrich Muschwitz. After the death of her husband in 1948 Maria Muschwitz born. Burkhardt in the land register. The clinker-plaster facade with opulent stucco decoration and a representative entrance portal in baroque style. Today the attic storey with sunbathing windows, renovation 1997–1998. LfD / 2009 |

Residential house in open development with garden and front yard | Silbermannstrasse 6 (map) |
1935 (residential building) | Plastered facade typical of the time, life-size plastic in front of a three-quarter-round staircase, retaining walls and paving made of natural stone, in the traditionalist style of the time, of architectural and garden historical importance
The well-known architect Alfred Liebig was won over for the plan production of the single-family house, who made a preliminary building inquiry in 1935 and was in charge of construction management for the company, which was completed in the same year. The owner of the house, which is recognized as a tax-exempt home, was the owner of a tobacco shop, Rudolf Tenzler, who had bought the property from Fritz Naumann. The construction business of the builder Erich Kohnert was commissioned with the execution, using iron girders from the Thyssen, Eisen- und Stahl-AG branch in Leipzig. It was built on an appealingly large, park-like plot of land as a three-storey building. In addition to the owner's two-storey apartment, a househusband's apartment under the roof was planned. The plans were revised several times, including the fencing built for the end of the year, which received columns and bases made of artificial limestone, as well as gates and entrance doors made of iron. The residential building, separated from the street by a narrow front garden, is plastered and has a striking stair tower. The multi-part roof landscape emerges in a picturesque manner in the midst of today's old trees, and a sculpture on the ground floor greets those entering. A small renovation is on record for 1937, concerning the addition of a room for plants with an upper exit. Here, iron clinker plates were used for the column cladding and the sill (executed entirely by Erich Kohnert). Renovation work and minor alterations from the 1990s onwards impair the appearance, and the glass top on the stair tower is particularly disturbing. Parts of the dignified furnishings have been preserved. As one of the few structural testimonies to the work of architect Alfred Liebig, the building has an artistic value, and as part of the high-quality Schleußiger villa district, it also has an architectural historical value. 1934–1935 (residential building) | Plastered facade, in traditionalist style, significance in terms of building history and urban district development history
Recognized as a tax-exempt home construction, the two-storey single-family house was built in 1934/1935 for the city administration inspector Bruno Richard Hentschel. The architects in charge of the design and construction were Arthur Blockwitz and Erling Dybwad, while the construction business Albin Zehmisch was entrusted with the implementation of the project. Eisenbau Fritsche and Müller were responsible for the iron construction. The private residential building with a plastered facade on a clinker base, closed off by a hipped roof, is quite compact; the building stands on the eaves facing Tischbeinstrasse. Due to the good original condition, especially inside, an authentic testimony to the architecture of the 1930s is presentable, which is significant in terms of building history. LfD / 2013 |
