UAB Tele2 is one of the larger telecommunications companies in Lithuania . It belongs to the Swedish group Tele2 . In 2013 the company achieved sales of 514.6 million litas (149 million euros ) and had 1.85 million customers.
history
In 1993 the company UAB Levi & Kuto was founded. In 1999 it was bought by the Swedish company NetCom . In December 1999, the third Lithuanian mobile operator TELE2 started its own network. In 2000, UAB Levi & Kuto was renamed UAB TELE2.
