Stan Barrett (racing driver)
Stan Barrett (born June 26, 1943 ) is an American racing driver, stuntman , stunt coordinator and actor.
In the early 1980s, he drove NASCAR races. He was a double for Burt Reynolds and Paul Newman . On December 17, 1979, he broke with the rocket car Budweiser Rocket possibly the sound barrier . In 1980, 1981, 1982, 1989 and 1990 he took part in 19 Winston Cup races. With Penny McCoy (* around 1950; from Mammoth Mountain Ski Area , youngest participant in the Alpine World Ski Championships in 1966 ) he has the son Stanton Barrett (* December 1, 1972 in Bishop (California) ).
