useful information

Because of a positive doping test he was banned for one year by the Australian Association in August 2007 - retrospectively from November 27, 2006. Finasteride had been detected in a sample of Lazaridis from that date . Doctors recommended this remedy for his hair loss . Lazaridis had used it before it got on the WADA Prohibited Substance List. Finasteride itself has no performance-enhancing effect, but it can disguise the use of other doping substances.
