Pole park
Rod Park is a 4.7-hectare urban park in Merrill in Lincoln County in the US state of Wisconsin . It is located in the center of town on the Prairie River near the intersection of Parkway Drive and West 3rd Street . A smaller portion of the facility is on the opposite side of the river on a headland that can be reached by a footbridge and is bordered south by 1st Street ( Wisconsin Highway 64 ).
In addition to a swimming pool , there are baseball and tennis courts , a basketball facility , a playground and picnic areas .
One attraction is the River Rat Wood Sculpture , which depicts a lumberjack from this region who sorts logs for the eight sawmills that were located at the time .
Every summer, the Merrill Chamber of Commerce organizes the open-air exhibition of artistic works "A Very Merrill Affaire" in Stange Park .
