Stanislaw Ruziewicz
Stanisław Ruziewicz (born August 29, 1889 in Podstaje , † July 12, 1941 in Lwów ) was a Polish mathematician at the Lviv School of Mathematicians .
Ruziewicz studied mathematics with Wacław Sierpiński in Lwów, where he became professor at the University of Lviv and rector of the Lviv Academy of Foreign Trade .
He was arrested by the Gestapo on July 11, 1941, shortly after the German invasion, and one day later another victim of the massacre of the Lviv professors .
