Stanislaw Gustawowitsch Strumilin
Stanislaw Gustawowitsch Strumilin (born January 29, 1877 in Daskovec , Vinnice region , † 1974 in Moscow ) was a Soviet statistician and economist.
Strumilin was a member of the Social Democratic Labor Party from 1899. He was arrested several times and fled from exile. Until 1920 he was Menshevik , from 1923 a member of the Communist Party. From 1921 he worked on Lenin's suggestion in the State Planning Commission . Strumilin is considered to be one of the founders of Soviet Russian statistics.
