Stanley R. Lee
Stanley R. "Stan" Lee (born November 6, 1928 - July 15, 1997 ) was an American copywriter and writer .
Life
Stan Lee worked as a copywriter at DDB Worldwide . There he was, among other things, in Tony Schwartz's team as a copywriter for the “daisy ad” campaign for the US presidential election in 1964 . Although the one-minute spot aired only once, it helped Lyndon B. Johnson to victory, according to many observers . This spot was supposed to change political advertising in the USA permanently.
In later years Lee wrote two novels. With his debut novel Dunn's Dilemma , he won 3rd place in the German Crime Prize in 1988 in the International category .
