Star Wars Jedi Academy
Star Wars Jedi Academy (English original title: STAR WARS: Jedi Academy ) is a comic book novel trilogy that was drawn and written by Jeffrey Brown from 2013 to 2015 . The books were published in German by Panini-Verlag .

Roan, a farmer's son from Tatooine , wants nothing more than to be a space pilot. To his disappointment, he is rejected from the pilot school. However, he receives an invitation from Yoda to go to the "Jedi Academy" instead. There Roan makes new friends, but also classmates who want him bad. While his friends wear white robes, his rivals wear dark robes.
main characters
- Roan Novachez: Roan lives on Tatooine with his parents and little brother. His older brother Dav is a famous space pilot, which is why this was a dream job for him. But when he comes to the Jedi Academy, he must learn to deal with the power and the lightsaber handle. He is not only blocked by other classmates, but also by his insecurity.
- Pasha: This young African American is a fellow student of Roan's and very talented.
- Gaiana: She is Roan's dream girl who also has feelings for him. For a long time, however, both did not dare to admit this to the other.
- Cronah: This boy has chosen Roan as his rival because he wants to sabotage him whenever he can. Cronah doesn't have a better relationship with his other classmates either. At the end of the third volume, however, it turns out that there is a spark of decency in it too.
- Ronald: Ronald is quite a busybody who absolutely wants to be the best at everything. He does not shy away from dishonest methods.
- Master Yoda: He teaches the use of power and often has wise advice for students.
- Mr. Garfield: This teacher (with a face reminiscent of Darth Maul ) teaches lightsaber combat and space flight. Mr. Garfield is pretty grumpy. He is particularly strict with Roan, so he didn't like the fact that Mr. Garfield was assigned to him as a Jedi teacher. In the end, however, he confesses to Roan that he thinks very highly of him.

Each of the three volumes is composed of different parts. Some pages are shown in comic style with panels and speech bubbles . Then there are pages of a diary in which only a few pictures can be seen. The comic “ Ewok Pilot”, which Roan draws for the school newspaper, can also be seen, as can his semester reports.
