Staro Topolje

Staro Topolje (German Alt Topolje ) is a small town with 831 inhabitants in the Croatian region of Slavonia , which is 15 km east of Slavonski Brod . The place belongs to the municipality of Donji Andrijevci in the Slavonian part of Slavonsko Brodska and is close to the Sava , which is the natural border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The football club NK "Omladinac" Staro Topolje, founded in 1947, plays its games in the "Grbavica Stadium". The club's best-known talent was goalkeeper Domagoj Malovan , who signed to NK Osijek in 1999 as a regular goalkeeper.
