The Stasys-Šalkauskis-Kolleg ( lit.Stasio Šalkauskio kolegija ) was a state university in the second largest Lithuanian city ​​of Kaunas from 1990 to 2009 .

history

From 1990, there was Caritas - catechists courses at Kaunas Priest Seminary and from 1993 the Katechetschule at the seminary. In 1998 she went to high school ( Lietuvos katechetikos centro Aukštesnioji katechetų mokykla ). In 1999 Lietuvos katechetikos centras and the Lithuanian Ministry of Education founded Kauno aukštesnioji katechetų mokykla . In 2003 it became Religijos studijų kolegija by the government of Lithuania . In 2007 the name of the philosopher Stasys Šalkauskis was assigned. In 2009, the Lithuanian government reorganized the college and it became part of Vytautas Magnus University Kaunas .
