Rigsarkivet

Rigsarkivet (dt. The Reichsarchiv), until October 2014 Statens Arkiver (dt. State Archives ), is a Danish institution that is subordinate to the Kulturministeriet and was founded with the Archives Act of 1992 . Archives are gathered in six locations. The head of the department in Copenhagen is also always the head of the entire Rigsarkiv, Landsarkivet for Fyn , Landsarkivet for Nørrejylland , Landsarkivet for Sønderjylland , Dansk Data Arkiv and Erhvervsarkivet . The filming center is also subordinate to the state archives. In addition to performing their archival tasks, the archives also conduct research.

Asbjørn Hellum has been rigsarkivar since 2009 .

With a circulation of 3,600 copies (as of 2013) the magazine Siden Saxo ( since Saxo ) is published quarterly by the state archives , with the ISSN  0109-6028 . The first number was published in 1984.
