The statue of a child in the National Archaeological Museum of Athens (NAMA) with the inventory number 3485 is dated to the 1st century BC. Dated.

The statue was found in the Geronticon of Nysa in Asia Minor in 1922 . It is made of marble and has a height of 63 centimeters. It shows a child with both hands clutching a Maltese dog in front of his chest. It is dressed in a long hooded cloak that is fastened around the neck. Only the beginning of the hair peeks out from under the hood. The child's face is round and chubby. The statue is preserved in one piece, the plinth is part of the overall work, as is the support on the right leg in the form of a tree trunk. The child's nose, dog's legs and parts of the cloak are broken off.
