Sticky mat

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A tack pad (also antibacterial mats , clean room mat , adhesive pad , adhesive film mat , dust catching mat ) is used for binding of the dirt caused by shoes or wheels.

application

Sticky mats are used in dry, especially indoor environments, to remove dirt from shoes and trolley or bed bikes. They are used in laboratories , medical practices, hospitals , in the production and food industry and in companies with high requirements for cleanliness and flawless surroundings. Even the smallest dirt particles, dust and bacteria remain on the sticky surface liable as a result of space is less contaminated behind the mat. The ideal length of a sticky mat is three prints on each foot.

The dimensions, thicknesses and color combinations differ depending on the region and field of application.

Types

Sticky mats can be made temporary or permanent.

  • Temporary sticky mats can only be used for interiors and consist of several single-use sheets. The individual foils are protected against damage by a fixed part. They are made from mixtures of polyolefin resins and have a special antibacterial adhesive layer. After the top film is soiled, it is removed. Temporary sticky mats typically have 30 or 60 layers.
  • Durable sticky mats are made of polymer , usually polyester or polyvinyl chloride based, and have a sticky part impregnated with an antibacterial substance. They can also be used outside and are cleaned with floor cleaning products.
