Stauren is an uninhabited peninsula in Norway and belongs to the municipality of Nordkapp in the Norwegian province of Troms og Finnmark .

It belongs to the island of Storstappen in the Gjesværstappan archipelago, a nature reserve in the European Arctic Ocean . Stauren is located on the southwest side of Storstappen and is only connected to this island by a narrow isthmus about 50 meters wide . The peninsula is around 600 meters long and up to 350 meters wide. It reaches a height of 165 meters and drops steeply on all sides, which gives it a very characteristic appearance.
