The Stauren ( Norwegian for post ) is a mountain in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains it rises from the Staurneset ridge .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
