The reservoir Jasna Poljana ( Bulgarian язовир Ясна Поляна ) is located in eastern Bulgaria in the Strandscha Mountains. It takes its name from the nearby town of Jasna Poljana and supplies the city of Burgas with water.
The fresh water supply system of the Jasna Poljana reservoir is used to supply water to all the eastern communities south of Burgas in the Burgas province . The water (including that from the reservoir) is fed through water pipes made of reinforced concrete to a water treatment plant with a capacity of 2,500 liters / second. The system pumps the water in a northerly direction and in a southern direction. Sozopol is also connected to the northern aqueduct, which supplies the city of Burgas .
