The Stedøy ( Norwegian for Anvil Island is) an island off the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It is located in the northeastern part of Prydz Bay .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them descriptively, mapped them in 1946 using aerial photos taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
