Yu Chen-yi (born December 30, 1996 ) is a Taiwanese sprinter .

Athletic career

Yu Chen-yi gained his first international experience in 2017 when he finished fourth at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar with the Taiwanese 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 06.51 min. He then reached the final with the relay at the Summer Universiade in Taipei , but was disqualified there. The following year he took part with the relay at the Asian Games in Jakarta , but did not reach the final with 3: 08.76 min. In 2019 he took part again in the Student World Games in Naples and was eliminated there with 46.86 s in the semifinals.

In 2018 Yu became the Taiwanese champion in the 400-meter run .
