Stefan Bäumann (born August 5, 1970 in Gifhorn ) is a German disabled athlete . He starts in the paracycling class MH2.

Stefan Bäumann has been paralyzed since a traffic accident in 1992 . During rehabilitation, he began to exercise again. First he played wheelchair basketball and in 1996 handbiking was added. In 2005 he was appointed to the national paracycling team for the first time and won the silver medal in road racing at the European Championships in Alkmaar . At the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, he finished fourth in the individual time trial . In 2007 and 2009 he won the bronze medal in the road race 2010 in the individual time trial at world championships. In 2010 he became world champion with the team.
