This list of members of the Burgenland Landtag lists all members of the Burgenland Landtag in the XVI. Legislative period. The legislative period began on July 18, 1991 with the inauguration of the deputies and the election of the Presidium and ended after 71 sessions on June 27, 1996 with the inauguration of the XVII. Legislative period . After the state elections on June 23, 1991, 17 of 36 seats went to the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ), 15 to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and 4 to the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ).
The presidium was chaired by the ÖVP member Wolfgang Dax as the first president of the state parliament . Gerhard Frasz (SPÖ) initially held the position of 2nd President of the State Parliament until March 17, 1993; on March 18, 1993, he was replaced by Johann Sipötz (SPÖ). 3rd President of the Landtag was Georg Puhm (SPÖ). The function of the secretary exercised Edith Mühlgaszner and Helga Braunsrath from folders were Josef Bach Mayer and Franz Glaser .
During the legislative period there were four changes among the state parliament members. A total of 40 different people belonged to the Landtag during the XVI. Legislative period.
