Martin Nehrer

Martin Nehrer (born July 30, 1955 in Eisenstadt ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and doctor. Nehrer is married and was a member of the Burgenland Landtag from 1991 to 1996 .

Nehrer was born as the son of the winemaker Martin Nehrer from Sankt Georgen . He attended elementary school in Sankt Georgen and then the Bundesgymnasium Eisenstadt, where he graduated in 1973. Nehrer studied medicine at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate in 1980 as a Dr. med. He subsequently worked as a general practitioner and between 1983 and 1984 did military service in the Austrian Armed Forces. From 1984 Nehrer was a medical examiner at the social insurance institute for commercial enterprises in Burgenland, and since 1985 he has been in charge of an ordination in Eisenstadt. Nehrer represented the ÖVP from July 18, 1991 to June 27, 1996 in the Burgenland state parliament.
