Eduard Nicka (politician, 1945)

Eduard Nicka (born April 21, 1945 in Öblarn ) is a former Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). From 1987 to 2000 he was a member of the Burgenland Parliament , Deputy Party Chairman of the FPÖ Burgenland and Vice President of the Burgenland Landsmannschaft .

Eduard Nicka was born as the son of the National Socialist district leader and later FPÖ state party leader Eduard Nicka from Unterschützen. He attended elementary school in Unterschützen and the Protestant teacher training college in Oberschützen , where he graduated from high school in 1965. After military service in the Austrian Armed Forces in 1966, Nicka worked as a primary school teacher in Pilgersdorf and from 1968 taught as a secondary school teacher in Stadtschlaining . In 1971 he passed the teaching examination for secondary schools for the subjects of German, history and geography. Nicka was based in Bad Tatzmannsdorf and co-founded the Bad Tatzmannsdorf cultural association in 1981. From 1981 he was also curator and lecturer of the evangelical subsidiary Bad Tatzmannsdorf-Sulzriegel. In 1988 he joined the FPÖ, which he represented in the Burgenland Landtag between October 30, 1987 and June 30, 2000.
