Stefan Dräger

Stefan Dräger (born March 18, 1963 in Lübeck ) is CEO of Drägerwerk Verwaltungs-AG in Lübeck. Stefan Dräger is the fifth generation to run the company within the Dräger family.

Life

After graduating from high school at the Katharineum in Lübeck and completing military service, Dräger completed a degree in electrical engineering and communications engineering at the University of Cooperative Education in Stuttgart to obtain a BA. He then worked as an engineer for process automation in a management consultancy in southern Germany. Since 1992 he has held leading positions in his family's company at home and abroad. In 2003 he was appointed to the board of directors of Drägerwerk Verwaltungs-AG for central tasks. At the Supervisory Board meeting on July 1, 2005, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Management and is thus the successor to his uncle Theo Dräger, whose predecessor Stefan Dräger's father was Christian Dräger .

In the course of the COVID-19 pandemic , numerous ministers and heads of state are turning to Dräger about the delivery of ventilators.
