Stefan Höllerl

Stefan Höllerl (born February 5, 1964 ) is an Austrian basketball trainer and official.

career

From the beginning of the 1990s Höllerl was manager of the BK Klosterneuburg . He was a trainer in the youth division of WAT Donaustadt, manager of UKJ Möllersdorf (later renamed Arkadia Traiskirchen) and in 1996 briefly worked in Germany for BG Karlsruhe  as manager and trainer of the women's team.

As a trainer, Höllerl led the women of BK Klosterneuburg between 1998 and 2003 to win the Austrian championship six times in a row. In the 2001/02 season, Höllerl also made it to the quarter-finals of the Ronchetti Cup with Klosterneuburg , which was rated as the greatest success in the club's history. In the quarter-finals they were eliminated against Dynamo Moscow . At the end of December 2002, he also temporarily took over the coaching position at Bundesliga club Arkadia Traiskirchen .

From the 2003/04 season he coached the men's Bundesliga club BK Klosterneuburg.

From March to May 2007 he was the head coach of the German Bundesliga club BG Karlsruhe. Until February 2013, Höllerl was managing director of the state sports school Sportwelt Niederösterreich in St. Pölten .

In 2017 he again took over the managerial position at Bundesliga club Arkadia Traiskirchen. The separation took place in August 2019. Afterwards , Höllerl , who worked as a publishing manager at a Viennese media company and as an employee of a strategy and consulting company in Grünwald , Germany, became an assistant trainer at the women's first division club Post SV.
