Stefan Kalbers
Stefan Kalbers (* 1972 in Stuttgart ) is a German author.
Life
In 1999 Kalbers began to publish short stories in small underground magazines such as Härter, SUBH or Metastabil, which could be assigned to the then active social beat environment. This was followed by contributions to anthologies , including those of Minimaltrashart Verlag from Hamburg. In 2002, the first novel, Emergency Exit , was published by loudspeakers . Kalbers has been publishing with Insichtbar Verlag since 2011 .
Irregular articles appeared in the art / satire magazine Pareidolia , as well as in Blank-Gesellschaft , Diskurs , Disko . Although not committed to a specific genre, most of the subjects are contemporary and reflect a predominantly pessimistic view of the world and people. Black humor, sarcasm and surreal exaggeration serve as stylistic devices.
