Stefan Merath
Stefan Merath (born February 26, 1964 in Stuttgart ) is a German management consultant and book author .
Life
Stefan Merath studied computer science from 1983 to 1984 at the University of Stuttgart . Then he switched to the Free University of Berlin to study philosophy and stayed there until his graduation as a sociologist in 1991. From 1992 to 1994 he was a research assistant at the TU Berlin . In 1997 he founded blue orange Internet GmbH , and in 2003 the company had to file for bankruptcy.
In 2004 Merath started advising small and medium-sized companies. In 2007 he founded in Eschbach near Freiburg , the entrepreneur coach GmbH , the personality and strategy coaching for entrepreneurs from the SME sector offers. He worked with the university professor Günter Faltin . In March 2014 Merath initiated the multi-day event "Light the Fire - Woodstock for Entrepreneurs" and engaged the British entrepreneur Richard Branson to perform in Hamburg.
Stefan Merath holds seminars and lectures. He publishes on topics related to entrepreneurship.
