Hans-Dieter Ramstetter

Hans-Dieter Ramstetter (born May 23, 1933 in Halle (Saale) ; died September 14, 2001 there ) was a German lawyer .

After studying at the law faculty of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg , Ramstetter was one of the youngest district court directors in the Halle district at the Saalkreis district court at the age of 28 . He was one of the most famous lawyers in the GDR , initially based in Döbeln , later in Leipzig and chairman of the college of lawyers in the Leipzig district and deputy chairman of the council of chairmen of the 15 colleges of lawyers in the GDR.

He was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze.
