Stefan Sprenger

Stefan Sprenger (* 1962 in Zurich ) is a Liechtenstein writer .

biography

Stefan Sprenger grew up in Liechtenstein and studied fine art in Lucerne as well as a specialist drawing teacher at the University of Zurich . He has been a freelance writer since 2000.

In his work, Sprenger deals with the history of the mentality and political issues of Liechtenstein , such as the reading drama Toad Arie , written in Liechtenstein dialect , which describes the change in Liechtenstein society between 1950 and 1975.

From 2008 to the end of 2013 he was a member of the Board of Trustees for the Literature Department at the Liechtenstein Cultural Foundation . He is the co-author of the play "Am Zug" performed by the Feldkircher Walktanztheater in 2018.
