Stefano Parenti
Stefano Parenti (born December 14, 1959 in Piglio ) is an Italian Roman Catholic theologian and professor of liturgical science .
Life
He earned the 1992 Licenza in Eastern Churches Studies at the Pontificio Istituto Orientale and ibid 1993, the promotion in the Eastern Church Sciences. He has been teaching at the Pontificio Ateneo Sant'Anselmo University since 1995 (1995 Invitatus, 1999 Lecturer, 2003 Professor Consociatus, 2006 Professor Extraordinarius, 2018 Professor Ordinarius).
He specializes in the history of the Byzantine rite, particularly its Greek and Russian branches.
