Stefano Pomilia

Stefano Pomilia (born October 28, 1956 in Rome ) is an Italian film director and screenwriter .

After dropping out of medical school, Pomilia, son of the producer and film distributor Aldo , began working as an editor on Italian versions of foreign films from 1976 to 1982 . After working as assistant director to Alberto Cavallone and Franco Rossetti , work on video clips and a collaboration with Ernesto G. Laura followed . After his self-written feature film debut Fiori di zucca ; which was also shown at the Venice Film Festival , the following two works were not shown in the regular distribution program, but were shown at some festivals. In the new millennium, Pomilia was mainly active as a screenwriter.
