Alberto Cavallone
Alberto Cavallone (born August 8, 1938 in Milan , † November 12, 1997 in Rome ) was an Italian film director and screenwriter .
Life
Cavallone devoted himself to his passion, filmmaking, at an early age and did not allow himself to be dissuaded from his concept of staging films against the usual conventions and illustrated violence even by a rather unfortunate beginning - after his debut, a documentary film , his first feature film, made in 1962, remained unpublished to mix surrealistic visions and eroticism. The majority of the films were rejected by the critics; towards the end of his directing career, Cavallone turned some hardcore films under pseudonyms . Until then, he had played the female lead in almost all of his films with his wife, the actress Jane Avril (actually: Maria Pia Luzi ).
