Maria Pia Luzi

Maria Pia Luzi (born April 15, 1941 in Milan ) is an Italian actress .

Life

She was married to the film director and screenwriter Alberto Cavallone until his death in 1997 and is the mother of one child.

Act

Her film debut was in Michelangelo Antonioni's award-winning feature film The Night in 1961. Some of her famous co-stars were Marcello Mastroianni , Jeanne Moreau , Pier Angeli and José Ferrer . From 1970 she appeared under the stage name Jane Avril. Her last film Maldoror was made in 1977 under the direction of her husband.
