Stefano Sposetti (born December 22, 1958 in Milan , Italy ) is a Swiss amateur astronomer and asteroid discoverer. He lives and works in Gnosca in the Swiss canton of Ticino . He is the discoverer of numerous asteroids , currently (as of August 2013) there are 148.

At the Geneva observatory he took pictures of the aten asteroid 2004 FH when it came closer to earth than the moon in March 2004 .

The asteroid (22354) Sposetti was named after him.
