Stefano Tamburini

Stefano Tamburini (born August 18, 1955 in Rome ; † April 1986 there ) was an Italian comic author and illustrator.

Tamborini published his first drawings in 1974 in the underground magazine Combinazioni . A year later he belonged to Stampa Alternativa and was involved in several of their publications. In 1977 Tamborini published in the first issue of Cannibale magazine and, after it was discontinued, was one of the founders of the monthly magazine Frigidaire, founded in 1980 . At the beginning of the 1980s, Tamburini created the figure of RanXerox , who made him known beyond Italy together with Tanino Liberatore . In April 1986, Tamburini was found dead in his apartment in Rome.
