Steffen Klaus (* around 1930) is a German film and theater actor.

Steffen Klaus began as a theater actor in the 1950s; In 1956 he played in Samuil Marschak's fairy tale game Das Tierhäuschen (directed by Hans-Dieter Schmidt ). also in the theater of friendship he appeared in 1962 with the children's program Frau Holle . He also wrote the libretto for a children's opera.

From the end of the 1950s, Klaus worked in addition to his theater work in productions on television in the GDR ; He had his first role in the television film Paul Eszterág is silent (1960, directed by Paul Lewitt ). In the following decades he was in several television films, u. a. by Otto Dierichs , Hubert Hoelzke , Frank Beyer ( Naked Among Wolves , 1963) and János Veiczi ( The Frozen Flashes , 1967). He could also be seen in television series such as Fernsehpitaval ( Die Affäre Heyde-Sawade , 1963), Wolf Among Wolves and in Blaulicht (1967). In the 1970s he still worked in the films Tschintschraka or The great adventure of a small juggler (1972) by Horst Netzband and in the miniseries The seven affairs of Doña Juanita (1973).
