Wolfgang Luderer
Wolfgang Luderer (born September 4, 1924 in Dresden , † March 2, 1995 in Berlin ) was a German screenwriter and director . His directorial work on series such as Fernsehpitaval , Zur See and Forsthaus Falkenau are well known . He is the father of the actress Ulrike Luderer and the brother of the actress Renate Luderer .
Live and act
Luderers work for the film began in the early 1950s at the DEFA studio for feature films in Potsdam-Babelsberg as assistant director. In this role he worked on Corinna Schmidt and The Invincible by Arthur Pohl . From the mid-1950s he realized his first directorial work, initially at the DEFA studio for popular science films. During this time he also wrote the first scenarios and scripts. After that he mainly worked for television in the GDR, with many of his television works being produced at DEFA. From 1958 to 1975 he directed about 30 films and TV plays in the TV epitaval series. Luderer continued to make films for the cinema, for example the comedy films The Reserve Hero and My Girlfriend Sybille with Rolf Herricht in the leading role. He wrote the script himself for many of his films. This also applies to the television film Effi Briest , one of his most important films. The series Zur See was created from 1974 to 1976 and was one of his greatest successes in the GDR.
From the beginning of the 1980s he also worked for BRD television. Series such as Felix and Cuckoo twice , Die Wicherts from next door were created . He was also responsible as a director for Tatort , Police Call 110 , A Case for Two and The Country Doctor .
Wolfgang Luderer lived in Kleinmachnow and died in a car accident. His grave is located in the forest cemetery in Kleinmachnow .
