Drei Mädchen im Endspiel is a GDR movie from 1956 about the experiences of players of a company sports soccer team on the soccer field and in private life.

action

The soccer team of the "BSG Hartenfels" has not had any sporting success for a long time. The changes that are absolutely necessary because of this fail mainly because of the star striker Werner Wieland. It is difficult for them to subordinate themselves to the collective and also rejects new training methods developed on the basis of scientific findings.

With cunning and feminine charm, Ruth, deputy chairwoman of the BSG, and her two friends Lilo and Uschi try to change the mindset of the footballers. Their efforts actually lead to success: there is a victory on the sports field and two happy couples.

Reviews

"Scant conversation."

HK wrote in Neues Deutschland that this comedy film was already sick at its roots, the script. The film is full of gags, but a film can no longer live from that.
